With a C. When I see C names spelled with a K I assume girl.

I'm not sure what country your talking about when you say "this country" but I know several guys who spell it Kris. Kris Kristopher's being one of them so definitely not a new way of spelling it.

I think you cant go wrong I like it both ways!

And I agree, I know several boy Kris witha Ks (in the US)

Mymiracle, Its more common in other countries. Sorry. I should have been more explicit lololol. Ive known tons of Chris', its a super common name here in the U.S.. Ive had plenty of kids names Chris in my classes. The one and only boy called Kris was from another country. I did say always, but that was me being dramatic hehe.
