I like it as a combo, it sounds nice. Sky seems a *bit more feminine to me, but it doesn't bother me in the MN spot for a boy. I think Xander Sky is a nice combo. Good luck.

I really like the name Xander. I think it flows well with Sky but I do agree I have always viewed Sky as a more feminine name.

Sky was my brothers middle name and he passed away in 2010. That is why were using that name. But thanks!

I always like names that give the kid options when they get older to pick what they want to be called.
I have a friend who was named after his Uncle Alexander who went by "Xander".
Xander Sky is a little hipster IMO; I think Alexander Sky has good substance while giving him more options when he gets older, but it could be a mouthful depending on your last name. My friend went by Alex and later used his first name John when he became a professional.

I have a plain name, with no nick name options, so I was always envious of kids who could choose what to be called lol
