Our little guy will be here in a out six weeks. His first name is set, it will be Van. Its a special name for us and I can't wait to meet this little guy!!

Question:

Van Oliver Bongiorgoni

...or...

Van Sawyer Bongiorgoni

???

Most importantly, I'd like to know WHY? What makes you like one or the other? I was really liking Oliver but I'm currently feeling like Sawyer is so darn adorable.

Thanks for your input ladies!!!

(Bongiorgoni is not our real last name but its that crazy and that Italian. It's close )

Hi Brooke!
I like Van Sawyer. No real reason besides I like the way it sounds.

heeey.. I posted this same question a few weeks ago!!

Van is our front-runner for a boy right now and I think we are going to use Daniel as a middle name.

I like Van Oliver. I like the transition from Van to Oliver.

I'm not sure I am following your logic here... Sawyer is a more suitable first name than Oliver and he may not like Van so choose the better backup? Interesting.

I think Oliver fits with Van better. Sawyer to me is waaay off, I think of Sawyer and Van in very different genres of names. Van seems like a "cool kid" name that fits the short, one-syllable trend...and Sawyer feels more "hippy/free-spirited" (I, in no way mean that as a bad thing). I hope that makes sense...good luck either way!

Van makes me think of Van Montgomery, lovable, funny, gorgeous.
Oliver is older sounding, classic, nice.
Sawyer makes me thing of a ruggedly handsome cowboy.

I love all 3 names, I can't pick a middle!

My choice would be Van Sawyer.

I'm not digging the the heavy 'v' sound in Van Oliver. It doesn't ruin the name though. Just makes Van Sawyer sound more pleasing to me.
