It's not my style.

My first thought was that it was a boys name.

I like it for a boy. But I can see it on a girl.

It's alright, I knew a guy named Rory and didn't like him so I attach him to the name.

Isn't the girl on Gilmore Girls named Rory?

ya i don't like unisex names that much either.... especially on my son. I'm kinda outraged about how some girls are being named brody these days. . .

Boy in my book
There are girls being named Brody ? Poor things, that's definitely a boy's name to me. Man I wish people would get over giving their girls masculine names. My sisters friend just named her daughter Justin. What's wrong with Justine, the feminine version, come on!

Honestly, I would never give my child a unisex name because I think it just leads to confusion.
The only Rory I know is a female and she's an artist, very sweet gal.

I don't know When I hear it, I think Gilmore Girls, but once I say it over and over, I think its completely boy. Its a cute NN for a girl, like from the name Loralei (sp?), but I don't think I'd give a girl this for a full first name. Its ok for a boy, nms though.

I say boys name. The only place I have seen it for a girl is Gilmore Girls. I guess that show is popular enough though to change the sex of the name for good! I dont like the name for either rwally.
