Sounds great! I love the name Violet.

What do your kids and husband think?

I am so glad you're here, Kirsty, I have been wanting to discuss baby names with you!

I love Violet. Not crazy about Alex but it is still a good name. What about Evan or Aaron?

^^Haha, exactly opposite! I love Alexander. Such a strong name. I think it fits really nice with your other kids too, particularly the style of the boys names. But Violet is just "eh" in my book. I've never been a fan of floral or virtue names. But it still fits your set nicely. I also like: Claire, Juliette or Julia, Margo, or Cora with your other kids names

In an interesting tidbit, did you know that 9-16 is the most popular birthday of all the days of the year? It's New Years Babies (since I think a New Years due date is 9-23 and it's exactly a week before). Lol. My son was born that day, but was just early.
Spottts likes this.

here's what I found on wikipedia:

"According to a public record births database, birthdays in the United States are quite evenly distributed for the most part. However, there tend to be more births in September and October. This may be because there is a holiday season nine months before, or from the fact that the longest nights of the year happen in the Northern Hemisphere nine months before as well. Based on Harvard University research of birth records in the United States between 1973 and 1999, September 16 is the most common birthday in the United States and December 25 the least common birthday (other than February 29, because of leap years).
More recently October 5 and 6 have taken over as the most frequently occurring birthdays."

soooo interesting! now I have to find out how popular MY birthday is

My kids don't know about the baby yet. My husband suggested Alexander..well he just wanted Alex but I think his 'proper' name should be Alexander.

I'm not in love with the name Alex either but my husband loves it and I can't find any other name I like more.
Aaron is very common here so that's out.
Evan was what Maria would have been if she was a boy but I don't know..I just fell out of love with it.
