I have a 16 month old named Ian and my husband and I found out we are having our second baby, another boy. We both really like Liam, but I wonder if they are too similar? Just want to see what other people's thoughts on this are. Thanks!
I think it's okay. They are similar, and first thought was "too close"...but as I am saying them in my head and outloud, they really aren't THAT similar. I think you are fine Congrats on your new little boy!
They sound too similar for me to consider but only you can decide how much it bothers you. I do like both names!
You might consider standing at the opposite end of your home from you SO and calling out the names to see if you can hear the difference. If you can then chances are your boys will be able to as well and you won't have both answering to one name.
I think they look more similar written down than they sound when said aloud but they are a little similar. If doesn't bother you though then I say go for it. Cortney has a good idea - yall should call it out to each other and see if you can tell the difference from afar
Thank you *Kiliki* for the amazing siggy!!
