Im English but am living in Ireland with my fiancée and our little man, we are expecting baby number 2 in June. My son is called Noah and i am seriously thinking of calling the new baby Moses - my question is do you think it would be too out there for a small town? I really love the name but i dont know if it would be cruel in a small countryside community like we have here. Any thoughts?
Middle names will be Peter William after our paternal grandfathers
I live in a small community, a little fishing town right on the coast of Nova Scotia. I think it's a cute little sibset. I actually know someone (online, not in real life) with 4 boys and two of them are Noah and Moses. They also have an Ezra, and then the other boy is named after his father.

Just popping in here. I'm English also but living abroad, I'm a teacher. We have a little boy called Moses in our nursery setting. At first, it was like 'Moses!?' but people's first reactions might be a bit like 'hmmm' but they'll soon get used it it as they get to know him. The Moses I know is a sweet lovely little boy so I have good associations. Personally I wouldn't use it myself but if you and your DH like it - why not.
