Ok..I'm a fan of a certain singer. I'm not going to say who right now. I admire this artist for more than just her music. She's charitable, an activisit, stands up for what she believes in. To me, there are good celebrities and bad celebrities. I admire celebrities with that down-to-earth attitude. The kind that don't let fame get to their heads, but use their good fortune to do good in the world. Having a pretty face and a good voice are just extra IMO. Anyway, do you think it'd be weird or obsessive if I were to give my child this person's first name? No..it's not anyone like Pink or Madonna lol. It's a respectable name IMO...not very common these days though. The reason I'm not providing the name is because I'd like your opinions on the idea of this..not the name itself. WDYT?

LOL You all are so curious and you're not even going to like the name...I can bet on it. But..I DO like the name..and not only because I like the celebrity. Just to clarify that. Anyway...the mystery woman is....

i think it's fine as long as you aren't just naming the baby after the celeb.. you gotta LOVE the name too.. but it helps that you think of a certain celeb who has good qualities like you listed!

i wanna know who you're talking about!

As long as you like the name, I'd say go for it. There's nothing wrong with naming a baby after a celebrity.

If you don't like the name & just are obsessed with the person for whatever reason, then I do think that would be a little weird because you wouldn't want to hate the name itself.

The most important thing IMO is that you love the name. That is great that it reminds you of good qualities of this person, but you have to like the name first and foremost. (at least that is my opinion)

I agree, as long as you like the name and it's not too out there (I love how you said it's not Pink!) then go for it!

Now who is it??

I say there is nothing wrong with it at all as long as you LOVE the name and meaning and you are naming her after that celb. for the right reasons which you already stated and I believe you are!
