We found out yesterday that we are having another girl! Dh suggested Matilda. I'm just not sure I'm on board with that.

Our kids are

Allison
Claire
(son) Cruz

Does Matilda go with them? Or does it stick out like a sore thumb?

Every time I heard the name Matilda, one thing that comes into my mind is the girl from a movie who has an amazing power. Hehehe. Anyway, the name Matilda is okay, though.

I love Matilda! You could call her Tilly, which is so cute. I think Matilda and Claire are the same style of name, so it fits fine to me.

I think it's be fine! Your name set seems eclectic enough to me that it doesn't "stick out". I like the name actually. But if you don't love it, keep looking. You should love the name as well!

And, that's EXACTLY what I think of, too. Plus, it's one of my kid's favorite movies! haha

Thanks ladies. It might grow on my over the next few months but, right now, I'm trying to picture it and am having a hard time.

I like Matilda and I love Tilly!

None of my children's name 'go' together but they fit each one perfectly.

I also think about the movie when I hear that name, but I don't think that is a big problem. I think it goes fine with your other names. Matilda isn't my favorite name, but someone suggested Tilly, and that I love. I agree, you both should love the name.
