We use Biblical names for our kids but, I don't really love any of the names that are left for girls. We have a Sarah Elizabeth now. I love short, sweet names like:

Lily
Ruby
Lucy

but DH doesn't love any of those....I really love Ruby and he says he "hates" it.

our other kids are:

Asher Luke
Noah Elijah
Josiah Benjamin

and if this baby is a boy he would be Isaac Nehemiah

Ruby is beautiful. Love the spunky sweet feel!! Shame he doesn't like it. I love Isaac too. How about some other short pretty names like Grace, Anya, Mia, Milly, Ella, Poppy, Lottie, Elsa, Keira, Molly, Lola, Layla, Isla… Good luck.

What about Ruth? It's like Ruby, but maybe DH won't hate it as much?

Rachel is my favorite girl name from the bible. What about Eden or Eila/Isla?

Thanks everyone!!!

My husband is SO PICKY. We didn't nail down our daughters name until I got the birth certificate. That is one reason I want to start looking now because I hated not having an official name to call her!

My grandmother whom has passed and I was VERY close to was Edith Marie. I have been thinking of naming the baby Marie if it's a girl. I might like a double name but I'm not sure what would go with Marie?

I'm really digging the name Mary lately, I kind of wish I had given that as a middle name to my daughter. Mary is close to Marie, as well.
