Hi, I'm Jerinda and I'm mommy to Avery Nathaniel (4) and have a baby due in February. We have names picked for the baby, but are needing some suggestions on each.

For a girl we have Nina Rose. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a cool way to spell Nina that I haven't thought of. I think many of the different spellings end up looking weird, but maybe if I see it from someone else it won't look so weird, kwim?

For a boy we have Quinn. We cannot find a middle name that we think fits well with it. My fiance wants the middle name to be Michael (his first name) but I just don't think it goes.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions in naming my baby, which we will find out the sex on the 31st.

Hello and Welcome!

Nina Rose It's in our top 3 girls names. Nina is my mom and Rose was my grandmother so the name means alot to us. I'd leave the spelling as is.

I think Quinn Michael sounds ok...other possibilities..

Quinn Alexander
Quinn Matthew
Quinn Thomas

Hope that helps!!

Yes, Nina Rose has special meaning to us also. Nina is what Mike used to call his aunt when he was little because he couldn't say Linda. She isn't able to have children of her own and just got over breast cancer, so it's in honor of her. Rose was my grandmother's name and it was my only pick for a middle name.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. Now that I see Quinn Michael and have read it over and over, it doesn't sound so bad. I still would really like to change Nina's spelling, but since nothing looks right I guess I'll just leave it.

I think maybe Ninah, or Nena would be ok, Ninah kind of makes me think "Die-nah" though...
Quinn Michael sounds fine...

I like Ninah or Nina the best. I honestly am not the biggest fan of the name Quinn but Quinn Michael sounds just fine

I agree with everyone that Quinn Michael sounds just fine together.

Also I like Nina spelled Nina, the other ways all kind of look weird or leave you wondering how to pronounce it correctly.
