Just wondering what everyone thought of the name Jaxson for a boy? We have two sons named Dawson and Maxwell, I thought that it was a perfect mix of the two. Do like the name jackson just dont want people to call him jack but rather jax. opinions please.

I would prefer Jackson. Does Maxwell go by Max? Jax and Max are really close ... too close for my style but I know that may just be me.

I, also, like Jackson better. Max and Jax would be too close, for me at least, and even Maxwell and Jaxson seem a little too close for me.

However, Jack and Jax are cute and I love your other sons's names

I prefer spelling it Jackson or Jaxon, and I love the NN Jack.

I think it's a really cute name & I like it spelt that way! (Plus Jax looks cuter than Jacks as a nickname, JMO)

I forgot to add that the middle name will be Christopher and so an alternative nick name could be J.C. I was wondering if jax and max would be a problem.

I like it - but prefer it Jackson - you could still call him Jax - and spell it Jax. Plenty of names alter the spelling slightly when taking on a NN.

I think it fits right in with your other two boys

I like the name Jaxson but prefer it spelled Jackson. I like your other boys' names but do think Jax and Max are too similar so I wouldn't use it if you were going to call him Jax.

I like the name, I prefer Jackson and Jaxon as someone else stated. Seems like in the spelling Jaxson, the x and s are redundant for pronouncing that sound. Just my opinion.

If you want his nickname to be "Jax," why not spell the name "Jaxon"?
