I'm definately not a fan of boys names for girls...And Ryan is VERY masculine sounding, she would definately get teased. If you are going to go that route I would suggest a name like Jordan or Devin (which are becoming more unisex) I also would have never gotten Ryan from the way you spelled it...I thought it said Rain when I first read it.
ETA forgot to mention I LOVE Elizabeth!

I do NOT like boy's names for girls. What about when she gets married? It will sound like she is a man married to her husband. It doesn't make sense. I also would never have guessed it was sounded like "Ryan" by the spelling.

Elizabeth is beautiful though. Good luck on whatever you chose!

P.S. Just thought I would add that I really like Landon Michael.

i knew a girl named Ryan and no one ever really TEASED her about her name, I was pretty good friends with her through most of school so I don't think it's really that bad. I think Ryan Elizabeth is cute.

I love Ryan for a girl, but not your spelling. I prefer Rhyan or Ryann. I think its just as cute for a girl as it is for a boy, and I do not think the child would get made fun of. I actually know 2 girls named Ryann but they are grown (not young children). I don't recall either of them ever having problems with being made fun of because of their name.

Thanks everyone for your opinions... erica i like the Ryann spelling...i was using rieynn because i knew a girl named rielynn( rie lynn) and i liked the way that was spelled. The only thing with Ryann is people might pronounce it Ry Anne. and i dont liek that. ut yah ill think about it a lil more, thanks again!

I LOVE BOYS NAMES FOR GILRS!! My daughter is Ryann and I love her name! We get many comments on it and most are positive. It just fits her, I can't imagine her with any other name. I say go with it if you love it! If not then don't.

I love the name Ryann for a girl (prefer this spelling). I would have used it on my daughters but my DH is very against "boy" names for girls

That's so crazy... Ryann Elizabeth was the first name I came up with for a girl that I liked!!! The only problem is I prefer that at least one of the names has a meaning to it (for me), and I only picked Elizabeth because it went well with Ryann... so I obiviously love your choice.
