I really like the name Kendall for a girl, but my fiancee thinks it sounds like a boys name. What do you think?

I think it is a very pretty name for a girl! I also know a boy with this name, but I can't see why a girl could not have the same name.

I definitely think it is a name that goes both ways... how does your fiance think about it now... what are his choices

Personally I think it could be used for either, but I think it sounds a little bit feminine. When I asked my DH what he thought of the name, he said he thought of it more for a boy.

Good Luck!

I think Kendall is one of those names that started out for boys and ended up for girls. I know a girl about 5 yrs old named Kendall. In college I also knew a girl with a similar sounding name of Kimball. (Her challenge was to have people call her by the full name and not just "Kim")
