We chose Parker . At first he didn't like it but now it has seemed to grow on him and he really wants to use it ! I am SO happy .
He likes Parker Ryan .
I like that because Ryan is his middle name so the baby will be named after him , BUT - I know a really creepy guy named Ryan , I would get into it but it's too creepy for the board ! (pm me ) , so I'm not sure anymore about giving my son that name , although it's his daddy's middle name . I'm so torn lol
I like Parker Owen . (last name rhymes with Inch)
Sooooooooo I have 2 questions !
#1 : Which do you prefer ? Parker Ryan or Parker Owen ? ( any other suggestions are always welcome )
#2 : Would you give your child a name that would always remind you of someone creepy even if it was after his father ?
I have an idea... just a thought, really.
If you really like Owen and you like Ryan but hate the association.
Then why not put them together and make Rowen (Rowan, Rohan).
It still honors SO but without the creepy association and it has a name that you loved before.
I voted Parker Owen, I think it flows nicer than Parker Ryan. But they are both cute I honestly don't think I'd be able to give my child a name, even if it was the father's name, if it reminded me of someone/something creepy. I don't think I could get that out of my head.
Example: (person is not creepy, but is a huge brat) My husband's name is Matthew and I'd love to use it as a middle name for a boy, but our nephew was also given the name Matthew as his middle name (named after my DH) and I just can't get passed how big of a brat he is and wouldn't want my child to share the same name. LOL
