As I said in the thread about giving girls boys' names, I see Noa/Noah as a girls' name, because it is in my culture!
I do think it is a very pretty girls' name, but would never use it because it is a boys' name here.
I would also never use it for a boy for the same reason.
See just how interesting mixing with other cultures can be? I would never have thought about Noah for a girl...Although I'm not christian I was raised with stories about Noah's Arc and so my automatic association of the name is male....wow...noah for a girl...I'd never use it on a girl for the same reason as you. Its considered a boys name but I think it's actually kinda pretty for a girl... a guilty pleasure name
