That's pretty... i just wonder if people will look at it and not get that it's a word and pronouncing it with a hard h.... like a teacher going "honer? is there a honer in this class??"

If a teacher can't pronounce honor correctly, they should not be teaching.

It's certainly original.
I've met a Liberty, Grace, Faith, Promise, and Victory, but not an 'Honor'.

I like it. I think if people are going to use "virtue" names, we really need to branch out from Grace, Hope, and Faith. There are so many others that would make great names ... or at least as good as those three if not better.

I don't like it at all!! Prefer it spelled Honnor.[/b]

I think it's funny when someone hates a name but wouldn't hate it if they spelled it differently......

anyways, I like the fact that it's a real word, and a virtue, unlike some of the names that are made-up lately (Addisyn, eg.)

What about having it as a middle name? My name is Sarah Sunshine (legally) and I've loved the Sunshine.. people call me Sunshine, but I'm glad it's not my first name..

Either way, I think it's a nice name. Best of luck

I adore it I posted a topic about a year ago asking if people liked the name Honor, and no one did. I think it's soft, feminine, but strong. I have a feeling that people will either love it or hate it.

I think it would be #1 on my list if DH wasn't one of those people who hated it
