First let me say I love the sound.

But (there's always a but, isn't there?) it reminds me of olives (which I don't like) and it's way trendy.

I think it's cute, but I've always wanted to use Oliver for a boy so I wouldn't use it

I have a friend with your name who has a daughter named Olivia! I love this name (I helped her and her DH to agree on it) but it is really popular now! At least in my area. My friend's daughter is always saying "but I'm the real Olivia, right?" because she meets so many.

See, that's what I like about the name, I'm probably the only one that likes the NN Olive for Olivia.
