I dislike it. Most of the "-er" names just sound the same... Parker, Porter, Cooper, Tanner

Strong sounds, but they just don't seem very masculine...

^ I agree.

A porter is the guy who carries your luggage from the airport dropoff to the ticket counter.

It's my first association, and probably will be for anyone who has been through the fun and joy that is the airport.

I love this name!!! I prefer it more as a middle name though. My favorite Porter combo is Wesley Porter
