i can't find a first name that flows with the middle name laurie. mn has to be laurie because of family tradition. i'm loving isla, but it sounds weird... too many la's. but then again, no one's ever really going to use her middle name. wdyt? i'm open to any suggestions that aren't top 100. thanks ladies!

haha as soon as i find the perfect name i'm going to find out i'm having a boy.

I think Isla Laurie sounds fine even with the repetitive 'L' sounds. I love the name Isla, it's very pretty and uncommon!

I think it's fine. I love Isla and think it's great that you're using a family name.

I love that you are going with a family name. Just remember, it doesn't have to "sound" good together.... The only time you're likely to use it is when she's in trouble! :-)

And I identify with the girl/boy issue. We have a solid name for a boy but cannot decide on a girl name...all this effort and it probably will be a boy. But, we won't find out til we have him/her so we need a name! :-)
