Well, Mario means "manly". Does that work for you?

Other than that I went looking for "manly names" and basically found people's opinions ... I figured that's all I'd get so that's OK. Here are some of them.

Brand
David
Matthew (nn Matt sounds really manly to me)
Michael (again, nn Mike sounds manly or boyish)
Cole
Derek/Derrick
Gage
Logan
Patrick (but not really nn Pat)
Zachary/Zack
Jack (nn for James?)
Bruce
Warren
Brock
Brett
Maxwell or Maximilian, or maybe even Maximus (nn Max is very boyish)
Drake
Garrett
Ivan
Deuce

Or you could just go with Manley ... it's a real name from Old English that means "shared lands". Land as in hunting or camping? Sounds boyish to me. Plus the name Manley itself. Alternate spelling is Manly.

Nathan
Owen
Quinten

Hmm, I don't know... Peyton is seeming a little manlier since the Colts won the Superbowl, LOL. His last name even has MAN in it

Although I do know 2 little girls named Peyton. And having had a cross-gendered name myself (Kyle), I know this can be pretty harsh on a kid...

Peyton is one of many, many boy names that have been co-opted by girls... just think, many boy Morgans, Jordans, Taylors and Skylars are now sharing classrooms with girls of the same name. Pretty soon boys will be relegated to John, Tom and Bob. Ok, maybe not that bad...

You got a LOT of awesome suggestions and maybe you will find one you like even more than Peyton!

I don't like Peyton at all, for either gender.

My favorite boy names are:

Griffin, Landen, Elliott, Wesley, Parker, Porter, Aidan, Kai, Jackson
