Love it! Olivia is on my list, one b/c it's a family name, two b/c it would shorten to Livy if used for a first name. I also like Laney and am considering Laney Olivia, just not sure how those two flow. WDYT?

I think it REALLY flows nicely....and ya know I never thought about Livy being a nn for Olivia!
(but this girl's real name was Livy...not a nn)

I think it would be cute spelled Livvy or Livvie. Something about the one V looks unbalanced to my eyes.

I like the sound, but I can't find a spelling I like.

Livie, Livy, Livi, Livvie, Livvy, Livvi...

My daughter was supposed to be an Olivia (after a grandfather, Oliver) and we were going to call her Liv. But, when she was born, she totally didn't look like an Olivia.

I like Liv as a standalone name but not Livy. It's too cutesy for an adult IMO.

Thanks. The more I say it, the more I like it too! And I like Livy on it's own, it's different. I like different, not off the wall different, but different enough that there won't 5 more kids with the same name in their kindergarten class. That's my main drawback with Olivia, I fear it's getting popular.........

I like it as a nn for Olivia or Livia (which has been a name since Roman times!)
