to name the baby Lucy if it's a girl..... it took a lot of convincing and shooting down his ideas, but he wore down... BUT then I had to go and mention the name Cora the other day. Now he likes that too. He said either Lucy or Cora. Which sounds better with Anna? (not to just figure out what to name it if it's a boy... ugh)

I like Cora a lot! It works as a sibling to Anna IMO. Really they both fit ... classic, not trendy, four letters.

I really think that Lucy and Anna are the perfect sibset, but Anna and Cora go well together too

I do prefer Lucy and Anna, though, because they sound good together, but are completely different sounding. Anna and Cora just sound a little to similar to me, since they both end in '-a'

You are too funny saying the power of persuasion! I discovered the other day that I somehow have to let my dh think that he came up with the name! Every name I say he says no.. So I've got to somehow find a name and not say anything But, Let him say it first! Hmm, Now how do I do this? lol

I really like Lucy!!

Ya, I really want to go with Lucy as well... I think that's what we'll end up using. But I always feel soo bad shooting down EVERY name he picks out. But I honestly don't like ANY of them. He picks names from my generation (being 33), names that when I grew up were extremely popular... like Nicole, Amanda, Danielle, Jessica.. they just don't do it for me... I feel like if I met one, I've been a thousand....

I think it is a guy thing! My DH is the same way... He thinks Amy, Heather and Michelle are awesome names, and thinks Lucy, Clara and Anna are for grannies!

I like both. And way to go for persuading the hubby.

I'm hoping that when my DBF and I have a boy (i'm hoping for a girl with this pregnancy) I can talk him out of making him a Jr.

Lucy Anna is cute! It almost sounds like Luciana. I love Cora too, but not with Anna -- too many of the same sounds.

I like Lucy better than Cora. Anna & Cora have a similar ending with the "a" sound. I think Lucy & Anna sound cute together!

I love Lucy and I don't care for Cora.

I love Anna and Lucy as a sibset. So sweet.

They are both nice names but I prefer Lucy. Is it going to be Lucy or Lucille?

It will be just Lucy, nice and simple. Thanks for your input girls, I want to go with Lucy as well.... I think I could pull it off Maybe when the Dr. is stitching me up after giving birth I'll say we're naming her Lucy.. he's bound to give me any name I want then

Oh man, we are SOO focused on girls names, barely even TALKING about names for boys. I'm just convinced it's a girl.
