This had been bugging me lately I know a lot of people dont like surnames as first names. But I keep seeing surnames that are commonly excepted first names: Grace, Alexander, George, etc. So why is it that its ok to use those surnames, but not say Lincoln or Carter (for example ) Just curious..Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Well, Jen, I dont REALLY have any input on this subject but I just wanted to pop over to tell you that I, for one, REALLY love the names you chose for your children & who cares if somebody else has a problem if you and Jay REALLY love them & accept them ♥♥
Thanks, ladies!! You are all REALLY sweet! I dont personally care what the haters think about my names, but it has honestly been bugging me. I just want to know the "rules" on why its ok somtimes but not others
I think it is a matter of personal preference and what one person likes may not be what another person likes. There are some "surnames" that I do like as first names, others I don't. I personally love Lincoln and Carter is cute too!
