I was Classic Eccentric too. And the recommendations were right on! All of the names I was considering for our little #2 were on that list! We decided on Delia Dorothy (Dorothy wasn't on the list, but that is for my grandmother and it is similar I think). If it were a boy it would've been Rhys Martin. I want to go back to that site with DH to see what his style is. My guess is that it would be something different. He hated almost all of my suggestions and vice versa! I am actually surprised we finally agreed!

So I did go back and try this with my DH and he was tied between Modern Conservative and Classic Conservative. All of his suggestions were on these two lists! Funny huh? He was 0% Classic Eccentric (which was mine) He did agree on Delia right away when I mentioned it though - go figure. I also checked out the other lists and both names we had chosen when pregnant with Luke were on the Classic Unusual list. Both he and I were 20% Classic Unusual.

This thing was pretty interesting - Thanks Acadia

Your personality type is: Classic Eccentric :
You prefer names that have a history. Perhaps you like names with historical connections or meaning. Although your favorite names may be considered stuffy and old-fashioned by some, to you they sound fresh and new and are ready for dusting off and being plunged into the new name pool.

That describes me exactly

Bronwen
Gwendolen
Hazel
Josephine
Ophelia
Vivian

Alastair
Ambrose
Calum
Ezra
Oliver
Phineas
Roland
Rowan
Tobias

lol, I was browsing the namenerds site and went to the "Least Favorite Names" list... and my name is on it (Niamh)... and so is my son's name (Seamus), and the name I plan to give my first daughter (Rhiannon)...

Yes!

I like quite a few of the "classic unusual" names. The "modern conservative" names are mostly nicknames, loving the Classic Eccentric.. no comment on the "modern eccentric."

Classic unusual:
You prefer names that have a history. These are fashionable classics that have come back into use after several generations of quiet slumber.

Classic Unusual for me...and the list was pretty right on.

I need to get Dh to take the quiz so maybe we can find some common ground.
