My fiance really likes the name Cameron if the baby is a boy. I personally have only heard it used as a girls name, and i prefer stronger masculine names. So has any one heard of this as a boys name?

I know MORE boy Camerons than girl Camerons.....it seems girls named Cameron is a newer trend.
I think it's a GREAT name for a boy!

My best friend who is pregnant wants to use Cameron for a boy. I don't care for it...probably because it reminds me of the whiny guy on "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"...

I have heard it most for a girl, but I think it is fairly unisex. I would most likely use it for a girl if it were me though.

Cameron is traditonally a boy's name. It's from a Scottish surname meaning "Crooked Nose". It has gone to the girls pretty recently, but I prefer it on a Boy.
