What do you think of the name Mira?

Do you think it is more of a nickname? If so, what longer version(s) do you like?

(the Mir is prn. like Mear)

My friend is naming her daught Mirra (with 2 r's)! It's so pretty.

But if you want a longer name, you could do Miranda, Mirabelle, Mirella, Mirielle, Mirabella, Miriella,

Hmm. . . can't think of anymore right now.

I like it but I know DH would never go for it because we live in the south and I know he would say, "I am not naming my daughter mirror!" (He pronounces it mirra). hee hee!

I actually like this version as is...I much prefer it over the longer versions. Very cute. I think that I prefer Mara slightly more though....

What do you think of the name Mira? I don't really like it
Do you think it is more of a nickname? No, I see it as a name by itself
If so, what longer version(s) do you like? Mirabelle maybe? I'm not sure

Very pretty, and I would use it by itself, perhaps paired with a longer mn.

I like it and agree that Mirabelle would be the preferred long form
