I like the name Lily-Ella, but I wandered if Ella should have a capital E or a lower case E because its after a hyphen???

I dislike hyphenated names (prefer to have 2 seperate names such as Lily Ella) but think if you are hyphenating, Ella should be capitalized.

I would capitalize it personally, because I think Lily-Ella looks better than Lily-ella.

I concur.

Seamus has two middle names (Padraig and Scott) and I WAS going to hyphenate them (Padraig-Scott) to make it one name, but DH didnt like it hyphenated lol... So alas we have Seamus Padraig Scott. I like that too... I just thought one hyphenated middle name would have been easier than two middle names... but oh well.

Though now when I look back on things where I wrote his name hyphenated (before DH vetoed it) it looks weird to me, lol.

You have two options when using 2 whole names:
Hyphenating and smushing.
With hyphening you capitalize both names like: Lily-Ella and with smushing you just add the second name like: Lilyella.
Lily-Ella is much better than Lilyella, so it should definitely be hyphenated/capitalized.
