If I have a girl we are naming her Amelia... I am trying to think of a fairly short middle name to go with it. And not a vowel. Our last name starts with A and is pretty long.

Any suggestions?? Thanks!

I think Rose is a very pretty middle name(although I may be biased since its my last name, and my daughters middle name). Also how about Lynn? Its a pretty middle name.... just a thought.

I was going to suggest Rose as well. Amelia Rose sounds so pretty!

NHmom2two-

That is so funny that you suggested Rose and Lynn. When I first thought of the name Amelia I said Rose with it. I thought it flowed so well and sounded so pretty. I like trying to use family names though, so that is why I tried coming up with others. And Lynn is my middle name. But I never really liked my name. Lynn was fine but it just wasn't a consideration since I don't like my name.

I am considering Rose again. I think it is pretty!

savaangel-
I also considered Rayne. I guess the R sounds good with Amelia.
Thank you for all of your suggestions.
