No, it doesn't make me think of a preppy, boarding school kids. LOL It is a name, not an actual person. I can't even begin to make that connection between the two.
I'm not a fan of the name Preston though. My mom's friend has a grandson named Preston, sometimes they call him Prez for short. They are definitely not the preppy, boarding school type of people. They actually live in the country, on a farm with lots of cows, chickens, pigs and horses LOL and get homeschooled until they get to the 6th grade.

Nope! Preston's my nephew's name, so of course I think of him. He's quiet and reserved but then he's also very brave and kind of crazy. He'll do anything if someone dares him.

Preston has a western feel to me - mixed with preppiness which equals:
Cute Cowboy with class. I like it! I have a good friend with a boy named Preston Alexander.

Definitely don't think preppy. I think Britney Spears, her son is Sean Preston.
Preston, Idaho is a little town here in Idaho so I also think of that!

I like it. I have a nephew who is the cutest thing named Preston. I liked the name before my sister named him that though. I think it's kinda preppy but not boarding school preppy.
