I think it's best for a girl and maybe a nn for India....that's better than Indiana imo

Since I live in Indiana, I can't imagine why anyone would want to name a child Indiana or Indy (the NN for Indianapolis around here).

Indica is really cute! i don't like indiana as much. It's just a state to me. Like I hear Cheyenne and don't think of a capital, but maybe it's cuz it's been used more for a name now. I've never heard Indica though. I like it a lot! About Indy- it sounds more like a boy to me. I'm not big on nicknames unless they're just as pretty/cute as the first name.

I like it. But I'm kinda weird like that! When my friend Diana was pregnant with her son I tried to convince her to name him that! Get it? In-diana? Yeah, I'm a dork!

First off, I live in Indiana. So, I really don't like Indy (nickname for our. cap city Indianapolis) nor do I like Indiana for a human. My friend does have a dog named Indy, she named him this because she is from Indiana and recently re-located to Colorado after graduating college. For a pet, I think it is fine... but not a child.
