They're both too trendy for me. I honestly do think that Taylor sounds, in the least, decent, but it really is way too masculine to saddle a girl with. I mean, it's one of the most common surnames, is it really fair to give a girl this name?
I'm neutral on Tatum, leaning towards dislike. The -um ending is a little awkward and harsh. and I just don't find this name, along with Taylor, feminine!
I am not sure at all about Taylor. I always think boy or tomboy with it. I think there are more girls named this though than boys.
I have a love hate relationship with Tatum. I even tried a different spelling (Taetum) however the tum part bothers me. It reminds me of tums (antiheart burn tablet) and makes me want to sing Tum-Tum-Tum-Tum Tummmmmmmmmmssssssssss
