I would like to name our son Austin, but we can't agree on a middle name.

I like Austin Lane, DH don't. He has basically given in to Austin for the first name.....I can't get him to like anything.

What else goes with Austin?

HELP ME!!!

There are plenty of other one-syllable middle names you could use. Since you like the sound of Austin Lane that's a good place to start looking. There are lots of one-syllable boys' names you can try.

Austin James
Austin Scott
Austin Brett
Austin Chaz
Austin Chase
Austin Miles
Austin Pax
Austin Clay
Austin Cole
Austin Craig
Austin Drake
Austin Pierce
Austin Reid
Austin Reese
Austin Rex
Austin Gage
Austin Royce
Austin Sean
Austin Seth
Austin Shane
Austin Grant
Austin Hunt
Austin Jack
Austin Jake
Austin Todd
Austin Troy
Austin Judd
Austin Jude
Austin Cade/Kade

A lot of men are wary of boys' names that don't sound "strong" enough. Lane is kind of a unisex name, so I could understand him not liking it. Hopefully you can find one he likes enough.

I say Austin James too, but I'm partial (my son is Cole James)

Maybe...

Austin Alexander
Austin Matthew
Austin Cole (again, I'm biased)
Austin Thomas
Austin Michael
Austin Patrick
Austin Joseph

If you like more traditional names, maybe some of those would work. I absolutely love the name Lane though, so Austin Lane is my #1 too! Bummer that DH doesn't like it!
