I hate plain names...josh, chris, brandon, etc. You get the point.
Any way I need a name to go with Dean or something with dean in it. I am very set on having Dean as a middle name but every name I like just dosn't go well with Dean. All the names I like seem to end with a N. Oh and what do you girls think of Davan? I know it goes horrible with Dean but I think I really like that name??? Whats your opinion? And does it really matter if the middle name and first name go well togather?
Thanks for all the help girls!

Harley Dean
Wesley Dean
Lionel Dean
Emmett Dean
Everett Dean
Carter Dean
Presley Dean
Jimmy Dean (that was just for fun )

Anyway, I don't know how extremely important the flow is. Yeah, its cool if the name flows well but how often do you use your kids middle name on a daily basis?

I like my first and middle names to sound well together, but when it comes right down to it, you have the final say and you can do whatever you want, regardless of what anyone else thinks (obviously)

If you pronounce Davan like ( DAV-IN) then I like it, if you pronounce it like ( DA-VAN) then I don't like it. But either way I don't think either sound great with Dean. The first prn. Isn't terrible, but the second one sounds more like one word when you say it.

I'm not crazy about all these names, but they're the first non-plain names I thought of. What about:

Corbin Dean
Grayson Dean
Ryder Dean
Elliott Dean
Ezekial Dean (nn Zeke)
Malcolm Dean
Brently Dean
Wade Dean
Wallace Dean
Laken Dean
Cole Dean
Thaddius Dean
Carleton Dean
Dayton Dean

GL chosing a name!

Davan is really cute!! I like it a lot. I would spell it Davin maybe?? So people will pronounce it like rhyming with Gavin? And if you really want Dean, why don't you do two middle names...like Davan Alexander Dean?

The reason I wanted to spell it Davan instead of davin is because my DH's name is Van.
DH said he hates it anyway so I guess it is out. And he said 2 middle names is out to...He is just no fun...lol

Dean is going to be my first son's middle name as well, since it is DH's mn and a naming tradition in his family. I don't necessarily think fn and mn always have to flow perfectly, especially not in the case where a mn is a tradition like for us. So don't sweat it if you've got 2 n sounds! Here are some combos I like, hope you find something that hits home for you.

Donovan Dean (uses van)
Dominic Dean
Cooper Dean
Cason Dean
Parker Dean
Preston Dean
Warren Dean
Wesley Dean
(I think Wyatt and Warren or Wesley would make a good sib set!)
Nolan Dean
Quentin Dean
Asher Dean
Kyler Dean
Noah Dean
Caleb Dean
