It seems Tom and I have finally come to some common ground in terms of names for the sprout. These are the ones we both like:

Antonia (I worry about the Toni nickname... Is it inevitable? Are there other good nicknames for this?)
Rowena (Too out there?)
Wilhelmina (Too heavy?)
Philippa (Too upper-crust?)
Rhiannon (Too close to Rory?)

Middle name will be Mary. That's set in stone.

Thoughts?

Wow, you sure have picked some really unusual names there!
To be honest, I don't think Mary goes with any of them, but that's just my opinion.

Antonia (I worry about the Toni nickname... Is it inevitable? Are there other good nicknames for this?)
What about Ann or Annie? If you introduce her by one nickname people probably won't come up with their own. I think you can avoid Toni. Maybe even Nia?
Rowena (Too out there?) I like the others better.
Wilhelmina (Too heavy?) I love the nn Mina. The full name is heavy, yes, but the nickname is not.
Philippa (Too upper-crust?) Not really. It would be kind of heavy on a little girl but there are nickname possibilities to offset that.
Rhiannon (Too close to Rory?) Rhiannon doesn't sound like Rory at all.

With Mary as the mn I would have to say Antonia or Philippa.

I love your names.

My favorite is Rhiannon! I also like Rhianna, it's a little more feminine.

I really like Antonia Mary. Rowena and Rhiannon are very sweet with Mary also.

My favorite is Rhiannon. I also like Rowena a lot. Just checking - do you pronounce this Ro-EE-nah or Ro-ENN-ah? I have heard both ways, but I like Ro-ENN-ah better. Perhaps I would change spelling to Rowenna. Mary is a fine middle name if you're set on it, in order to honor a family member or what have you.

I like Rowena and Wilhelmina. Antonia is nice too and I think like the other poster said, you could use Ann/Annie as a nn or none at all if yon donnt want one, I don't think people would use Toni too readily

My favourite is Philippa and Rhiannon is a close second. Rowena is nice but I never know how to pronounce it. Mina is a cute nickname but I don't care for Wilhelmina, and I've never liked Antonia.

Rowena would be ro-WEE-na. Mary is my sister's MN and my best friend's MN.

Thanks for the responses!
