I have always liked the idea of using family names for naming my future kids...but I wouldn't know which ones to choose...

the boys names i would want to use for family purposes would be:

thomas
sidney (i know this is used as a girls name primarily now...and it's not my favorite...but the family member that has it is my grandfather who i spend the most time with...i was thinking maybe a middle name?)
amelio
dominic
james

and for the girls:

darlene
olivia
mary
elena
patricia
garnette

i would also like to use emerson, which is my mom's maiden name...but i dont know for which gender?

so...can anyone help me out with combos for these names? i'm having a hard time! i don't necessarily need them together, they can be mixed with names that I like...or any Italian name since his side of the family moved here from italy.

other names i like:

sophia, lila, kate (as a middle name), elyse, eva, isabella, delia..

owen, henry, anthony, jacob, cole...

ahh, this post seems confusing and like a lot to ask..but TIA to anyone that can/wants to help=)

I love Emerson! That could be a boys first name? How about Emerson Dominic? or Dominic Emerson? I think that sounds like a really strong, masculine name. I like Olivia out of your girls list.. How about Olivia Kate?

Jacob Thomas

I really like Amelio Henry too ... maybe a nickname could be Milo? Milo sounds very cool to me.

You have a lot of possibilities for girls' names. Almost all of them are mix-and-match with the right middle names.

Sophia/Lila/Eva/Isabella/Delia/Olivia/Patricia/Elena Garnette
Sophia/Lila/Eva/Isabella/Delia/Olivia/Patricia/Elena Kate
Sophia/Lila/Isabella/Delia/Olivia/Patricia Elyse

I also like Mary Sophia and Mary Elyse.
