I don't know the gender yet, but just have this feeling its a boy.

War games with DH start in earnest by the next sonogram, which will either confirm or deny my gut feeling.

Nevertheless, stocking up on boy names. This one came from a good friend I had in college. Brooks did, in fact, came from a very rich family, but he was the most down to earth, nicest guy you could ever meet. I always thought his name was unusual but had a nice ring. But I don't know if I'm just thinking of the nice person he was, as opposed to the connotation of the name.

Too snobby sounding? What do you think?

I know a boy named Brooks and yes, he's a "snob". LOL

Ah, confirmation. So I AM thinking of my friend Brooks, and not the name apart from him. Moving right along.....

Never heard of any guys named Brooks, but dont like it really anyway. I only think of Brooke, which is more of a girl's name.

I actually like the name Brooks. I had a guy in my class named Brooks and he was FAR from SNOBBY!! He was hilarious! Oh, and I don't think it sounds like a girls name either!! I even have a cousin named Brooke....

I absolutely LOVE it!! Seriously!! I know a Brooks from high school and he is just awesome... but I like the name either way. I never thought of 'Brooke' or anything.. plus he was the only person in the school with that name. So you never heard Brooks who? lol

I'm not really sure about this one, I think it could grow on me. I don't think it sounds too snobby though.
