Do you see "e-in" or "eye-in?" I like "e-in" but really don't like "eye-in"

EE-in. Just like the letter E and then the letter N.

I have never, ever heard anyone pronounce it EYE-in. I've heard OF people pronouncing it that way (from others online, talking about how someone mispronounces it) but never heard it in real life. I don't think it's a problem at all.

The only time I've ever heard the pronounciation "eye-in" was from that guy that was on Melrose Place, I think. No wait, it was Beverly Hills 90210. Just found the Wiki article on Ian Ziering. He pronounces it "eye-in".

I strongly dislike that pronounciation. Ian (spelled Iain) is one of my favorite names and I prefer it pronounced "ee-in".

E-N is the traditional pronunciation. (and I like it)
