WDYT of Drake?

It's really growing on me!

I don't know if we could use it with our last name though. Our LN is Daniel, not Daniels...just Daniel. So, it gets kind of tricky with the two D's and the fact that our last name sounds like a first name!

I really like this name. It's very nice, masculine souding without being a name you hear everyday. I have a thing for 'D' names though. I think Drake Daniel sounds fine.

I like Drake! In fact we recently went to Build-A-Bear and that's what we named the animal we got, lol. I wanted a dragon (Seamus' room is decorated in dragons), but they didnt have one... so we got a puppy instead (in a wizard outfit) and named it Drake.

I know that the first letter of first and last name starting with the same letter is kind of "taboo" in naming , but I think Drake Daniel flows fine. Heck, I'm in love with the name Deaglan... and my last name is Dhabolt ("DAY-bolt"), lol.

I think Drake Daniel sounds fine... but it isn't really my style. It sounds more like a last name then a first name, like it should really be Daniel Drake. I don't think it sounds bad, I think it's just my preference.

I love Drake. It sounds so masculine and tough. I just don't like the meaning. I wouldn't use it because of the meaning.

It doesn't sound bad but I think a lot of times when people are doing paperwork (school, doctor, etc) it would get switched around to Daniel Drake.

I guess with Daniel I think you really need a name that's obviously a first name, so at least then if someone gets confused they ask.

I like it, but the meaning does bother me. I do think people might switct his names, people do that to my dad all the time because his last name is sometimes used as a first name. It does sound nice, though. Maybe it would be better as a middle name.

I really like the name Drake for a little boy, my husband hates it though... so we'd never use it.

I'm really confused.. what does it mean that's so bad?

I like the name, personally. I don't think Drake Daniel sounds bad, but it probably would be confused sometimes.

Ok, without sounding gross, Drake Daniel is a hot guy name. I think those two names go really well together...in fact it sounds like a movie star name!
