I don't know where to start. This little girl growing inside of me needs a name! I want to stop calliing her "she". I've had a name that I've loved since I was about 8 years-old...a girl that lived down the street from me was named Kayla. I fell in love with it and it's my first choice. But I'm fighting with myself on the "oh it's probably way too common now" issue and so I've been making a list of other names I like. Problem is. Whenever DH says he likes a name and I like it too..it goes on the list...then days later I'll mention it and he's like..."oh I dont like that name". I'm confused...our list is constantly changing. I need help. Here are a few "we" like. What's the first thing that comes to mind when you see each of these?

Kayla

Olivia ( I know...two of you have already picked this one... )

Natalie

Paige (DH mentioned)

Jocelyn

Taryn

Hazel

Ok..there's more but I dont have the list in front of me...

I'm sort of wishing "she" was a "he"...we had our boys name picked out from the start lol...grrrr..it's never that easy is it!

Don't feel bad I am in the same boat. I don't want to common a name either, cause I don't want 3 others in their classes when they start school. From your list I like Paige and Natalie. Goodluck.

Kayla-i love this name. if ashton was a girl his name would have been Kayla Fallon

Olivia ( I know...two of you have already picked this one... )-when i first heard this name a few years ago i hated it. it has grown on me though. i think it is becoming more popular but i dont think it is overused.

Natalie-the only natalies that i have known have been not very nice girls. so for that reason i dont like natalie.

Paige (DH mentioned)-i love the name paige. it is diffrent but not too weird.

Jocelyn-i love this. it is on my list.

Taryn-too manly for me. i have only known boys named taryn so i cant imagine it being a girls name.

Hazel-love it.

Kayla - Its a cute name but I have never been a big fan of it, not sure why

Olivia ( I know...two of you have already picked this one... ) - Jaxon was going to be Olivia 3 years ago, I really like this name but its so popular here.

Natalie - Its OK

Paige (DH mentioned) - This is my favorite out of your choices, I like it!

Jocelyn - Knew a Jocelyn and she wasnt a very nice person, that always ruins a name for me.

Taryn - Dont like it.

Hazel - Cute one too.

How about Hazel Paige?

Kayla - It is a cute name and since you love it, I would go with it!

Olivia ( I know...two of you have already picked this one... ) - This is on my list, I love it

Natalie - I really like this name

Paige (DH mentioned) - Dont like it so much

Jocelyn - I know one Jocelyn and she pretty much ruins this name for me

Taryn - I know 2 Taryns, both girls, both very nice, but I dont really like it.

Hazel -My boss' name is Hazel, as is a very regular customer that comes into the store I work at, and they are both old(over age 50)-so its old lady-ish to me, but I do like it!

I like Taryn - but dh didn't like it for us. I know this wasn't one on your list, but what about Teegan - that always went hand and hand with Taryn at our house

Kayla - I think is very pretty - but is very common nowadays - what about switching it up a little to Kyla?

Olivia - don't like it, makes me think of the little girl on the Cosby show and Olivia Newton John

Natalie - pretty name

Paige - LOVE it

Jocelyn - I am on the fence about this one.

Hazel - makes me think of an old lunch lady

Good luck!

Kayla- love it, also love the suggestion of Kyla

Olivia- not my fav. but just b/c of a bad name association

Natalie- love

Paige- love

Jocelyn- not too sure

Taryn- actually starting to like

Hazel- my grandma has a good friend named Hazel, so I also have the "old lady" association. But you could certainly change that!
