It's NMSAA for either sex, but especially not for a girl. It's very popular now for boys, so people will probably assume it's a boys' name when they see it.
It may seem cute for a little girl, but when she's older, and people at her school assume that it's a boy's name, it could be a problem. There could be boys named Chase in her class. Kids can be mean about things like that, so I don't think it's a very good idea to use a non-unisex name on the opposite gender.
Yay! I LOVE Chase for a girl. It's on our list. I first saw Chase as the subject and I was like "oh the poster is going to hate me for saying I like it better on a girl" but then I read on and saw for a girl! Yay! I think it sounds totally girly!
