I have been trying to find a mn that I love, that will go with any of the first names that we have picked.
My DH's grandmother's name is Joline. This will be her first great-grandchild & she is a really special lady.
I was trying to think of a name that would honor hers, without using her actual name.

I come up with Jolie & Jolise.

If we do have a girl, we will most likely go with Eliana, Annika, Mattea or Ciara for a FN.

What do you think of Jolie/Jolise with these names?
I am hesitant to use Jolie bc our last name starts with an L... but it "kinda" flows.

Need honest opinions here...
We still have plenty of time to decide.

Well, if the last name starts with L, I wouldn't use Eliana. That's too many L's for my taste (since Jolie has a strong L sound too).

But I think

Annika Jolie
Mattea Jolie
Ciara Jolie

all sound fine. Of those I like Annika and Mattea best, about equally.

I like Eliana Jolie best. I think Jolie is a great way to 'update' Jolene.

Annika Jolie

I think Jolie is the cutest, but Jolise is cute, too. I love Elyse so it's a similar- it just has "jo" in front of it. I think both middle names would sound great with any of your name choices!

I think Jolie and Jolise go great with Mattea and Annika. I like Eliana Jolise but not Eliana Jolie.

I also know someone named Jolienne. I think that's kind of pretty.

I like Jolie better and you also may want to consider Joelle (Jo-El) or Jolyn depending on what flows between the first and last name. Good luck!
