I am trying to come up with some Irish boy names because I'd like to honor my dad's side of the family who are of Irish decent. My dad's name was Grady O'Neil and I will definitely be using O'Neil as my first boy's middle name and calling him Neil since my dad passed away when I was 10. I love the name Aiden O'Neil and it is currently the top of my boy's name list (which is a very short list btw). I ran it by my husband this morning and he gave me the reaction I was pretty much expecting. He said it's a little too Irish and too preppy. He did say he didn't hate it and I think it could possibly grow on him by the time we actually have a kid, but I'd like to come up with some other options to fall back on. What are some Irish boy names that go well with O'Neil but are not too out there or preppy?
