I met a little girl named this the other day and I can't seem to get the name out of my mind. What do you think of this name? I find it very unique, but I would think of a boy if I heard it??

I also think it sounds like a boys name. It's okay.

It sounds like a verb- to chan, channing, channed. It reminds me of canning, like canning food or channeling. So, it is NMS.

There is a male actor named Channing Tatum, so I think it is probably a more of a masculine name. And, since someone else has it, it is unusual, not unique. It would be VERY hard to find a name that is actually unique.

I feel like your response was a bit unusual..here is the definition of unique...
Unique- highly unusual or rare but not the single instance.

but thanks for your opinion

Sorry if you thought I was being rude or anything, I was not trying to be. My dictionary has "one of its kind" and then "very unusual," so I guess I was thinking of the first definition.
