Lyndia at first strikes me as a misspelling of Lydia, or a mashup of Linda and Lydia. But when I say it out loud, it has a nice ring to it. It sounds like India, which I have always thought was very pretty.

Lyndsey/Lindsay etc was a very popular name in my area growing up, so I don't either like or dislike it.

It's pretty but I prefer Lydia.

Lyndsey would get misspelled a lot, most people would expect Lindsay. I don't love it or hate it, it just reminds me of Lindsay Lohan.

I agree, I thought it would be hard, but its not

what about Lindea/Lindia or Lyndea to keep the same sound, but to lessen confusion and mixups with Lydia?
