I wouldn't give two children names that are completely different in style, but I don't think it is that important that they match. Whether or not their names sound good together will only matter for as long as they are children.
I would go a step further and actively try to avoid overly "matchy" names. But I definitely don't want one super unique name, and then another really common name. I'd like to keep the style consistent.
I want my kids names to sound like they make sense together. Like, I won't name one Alexandriana and the other one Jane. KWIM? But I won't use the same initial for them, make them rhyme or anything like that.
Nope. Doesn't matter a bit to me. They are individuals and aren't going to be spending their whole lives side by side. If I truly love a name, it won't matter to me what it sounds like next to their sibling.
