My husband and I can not come up with a girl name that we both like. Honestly, there really aren't any girl names that I "love" ... it is so difficult this time around! We pretty much have our boy name set, so I was wondering if you could help us out by giving us some suggestions for girl names! I kind of want to stay away from names ending with the "lee" sound, and even names ending with a long "E" sound. But, any suggestions are welcome!
From what you've named, Mattea, Adalyn, and Reese have been on the list, but my DH claims he "hates them all" LOL I like Isabel, but DH hates it... and then again, I don't love Isabel... I like the nickname Izzie more, but wouldn't ever just name my daughter Izzie. I like Tatum, probably enough to use it, but DH hates it. He thinks we should name our daughter Ryan, I said no way! I can't even put together a true girls name list, because I don't have any ideas! I'm not a fan of names like Jessica, Jennifer, Sarah, Lauren, etc.
Here's some of my fave girl names at the moment..
Charlotte (with the nn Lottie or Charlie)
Esme ( i like it pronounced es-may rather than es-mee)
Phoebe (i know it ends in the 'ee' sound but i think it sounds great with Brinlee)
I love Mattea, it's a shame your dh doesn't because i think it sounds cute with Brinlee.
DH doesn't suggest any other names, just shoots down all the names I suggest!! I've already tried the whole "I'll name the girl, you name the boy" deal... and it didn't work! We have a while, and maybe we just won't have to worry about it anyway (if we have a boy).
I didn't read the other responses, but here's some (some do end in the E sound though!)
