I think this is a cute boy's name! Not for me, we are pg with a girl, but a friend on another site mentioned this name and I thought it was so cute! I also like the nn Shep. wdyt?

NMS, sorry. The first thing I thought of was a German Shepard, and that Shep sounds like a dog's name.... I know it's a surname, but I thought of dogs first, and as a human name it reminds me of the murder victim Matthew Shepard.

I tend to love what people call 'dogs' names! I love Molly, Max, Cooper, Rex, Sadie, etc!

I don't find it any weirder than other "occupation" names like Hunter, Archer etc but it's nms really

Makes me think of Derrick Shepherd from Greys. So i think of it as a surname rather than a FN. NMS.
