Sorry..

Al-e-ette

Lots of spelling options, especially to make sure it is pronounced correctly.

Al E ette? nms

I like Aleta and I love just Leta

I'm probably not the right person to ask because I don't care for many 'ette' names

I think it's pretty. It sounds dainty and feminine Like a ballerina or something

I would assume it's a feminized spelling of Elliott.

Aside from that, it sounds nice and vaguely French (I guess because of the -ette ending).

I don't know if you guys watch Dancing With the Stars, But Helio Castroneves is engaged to a girl named "Ally-ette" (I'm not quite sure how she spells it.) Anyway, that is where I heard it. And I thought it sounded beautiful when he said her name. Not sure where it originated or if it is French or not. But I am curious now.

Thanks for the input.

I think sounding like a ballerina is promising.
