Okay ladies. I feel like this baby will never have a name. I like names that hopefully everyone can pronounce, are known but not to popular and I can't get my husband to like anything. Although he does come around after I keep a name on the list a while, like he is all for Jenna/Genna now and wasn't before. I ran a couple new ones by him today Kyndall and he didn't like it much, and Regan and he said that was okay, but he prefered Jenna.

I am wanting to use Jean as the middle name for my Mom, I had thought of using Reese Jean as the middle names cause Jean doesn't sound good with Jenna/Genna and I love Reese, but I don't know.

We have the name Camden (spelled different) on our list too! I have never heard of anyone else mention that name before, I like it alot, but I am afraid people might call her "Cami" and I am not big on that at all.

Kamdynn/Kamden - I don't really like this one. Would you consider Camille or Carmen?

Jenna/Genna - This one isn't my favourite. I really like Jemima though, which is unique and pretty.

Kara - It's nice, but I prefer it spelt 'Cara'. Do you like Carina?

Reese - I really dislike this one

McKenna/MaKenna - Anything with 'Kenna' in it sounds unfeminine to me - sorry.

McKinley - I really don't like this one

Kyndall - I really don't like this one.

Regan/Raegan/Reagan - I don't like Regan on a girl at all. How about Teagan?

Kamryn - Have you considered Carmela?

Karmen - I like this, only I prefer it spelt with a C

Alexandra - This is beautiful, not to popular and timeless. This is what I voted for.

Kelsie - I really don't like this one. Have you considered Calandra?

Karrington - It sound's like it could be a park, a name of a small town or a supermarket. Sorry.

Megan/Maegan - This is OK, just a little boring. Perhaps something else like Merinda or Melita may be nice.

Thanks for the replies ladies!

Mama2Four - I agree I don't like the nickname "Cami" either. I had thought on Kamryn, I could always use "Ryn" as a nickname. I saw on TV a while back a girl named "Wren" and I liked that, it was different without being hard to pronounce or spell.

Kay, I think we just have complete different taste, cause you don't like the names I like and I didn't care for any of the alternate ones you suggested. Thanks anyway.

Kamdynn/Kamden - It's okay. And it's original so that's nice.

Jenna/Genna - It's pretty. Just make sure your last name flows with it. I knew someone named Jenna Toll. Eck!

Kara - I think Kara is nice.

Reese - Reese would just seem like you were naming her for a movie star.

McKenna/MaKenna - I think McKenna is absolutely adorable. I know a girl named McKenna Rose.

McKinley - This one sounds like a last name.

Kyndall - Kyndall is okay.

Regan/Raegan/Reagan - I agree with Kay_S. Teagan is way cuter.

Kamryn - Kamryn spelled like that is better than the original spelling.

Karmen - I don't really like this one. It reminds me of Carmen San Diego.

Alexandra - Alexandra is pretty but think about what she might go by (Alex) and decide if you like that.

Kelsie - Too popular.

Karrington - Again I agree with Kay_S. Sounds like a town.

Megan/Maegan - Megan is also too popular.

Kamdynn/Kamden - Don't like it. You know how some names place a child in a definite decade? Like you know Agnes was born in the 1920's or something. I think this name places you in a decade.

Jenna/Genna - I think this is a timeless name, and very pretty and feminine.

Kara - Sweet and light. I prefer the traditional spelling, Cara.

Reese - Also sweet, and not as trendy as some think bc its got roots (Rhys)

McKenna/MaKenna -You'd need a short last name for this one, I think. I know its terribly popular right now too, not sure if that's a problem. Would be for me.

McKinley - This, in my head, is a mountain and not a name. (You know, the famous Mt McKinley in Denali Nat'l Park?)

Kyndall - I like the traditional spelling, Kendall. Keep in mind that she might become Kenni to her friends.

Regan/Raegan/Reagan - I love these names. Mainly bc I loved Pres Reagan. I tried to get Reagan as the name of my 1st DD but my lib husband wasn't having it !!!

Kamryn - I apologize, but I just hate K names. Camryn looks nice to me, Kamryn sound harder. Though it is the exact same name. Whatever! My own stupid hang up

Karmen - Same deal. LIke Carmen. Don't like Karmen.

Alexandra - Timeless and classy. But all my girlfriends (I have 3, believe it or no) named Alexandra were never Alexandra. Always Alex. If you want the full name, maybe go with Alessandra bc that's harder to shorten.

Kelsie - I have a very close friend named Kelsey so the name is special to me. I can't be objective about it.

Karrington - Eh. Showing my age here, but wasn't Carrington the last name of a very snobby character from an old 80's soap opera? Ah, wait, its come to me: Alexis Carrington from Dynasty. The name sounds filthy rich. And she'd always be Karri, anyway.

Megan/Maegan - Regular name. I just know a ton of Megs. All good eggs though

I think its wild that some prefer the Kendall spelling cause on the name website that is the spelling for a boy, and Kyndall is for a girl. And Cameron is usually the spelling for a boy (Scottish spelling for a girl though) and Kamryn for a girl and Camryn isn't listed at all. Just thought that was interesting. I have also noticed that several people on this board don't like names that begin with K and will say it sounds harsh. That has never occured to me, huh!
